Dominic Agresta was admitted to practice in 1995.
 
He holds an Honours Degree in Law from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Arts, with Honours, from Flinders University.
 
Dom started his career with leading Adelaide King's Counsel, Michael Abbott AO KC, with whom he worked closely for three years, often acting as his junior in significant and complex trials and appeals. He signed the Bar Roll in 1997. In 2000, Dom moved to Condello & Co, as a solicitor and in-house counsel, doing principally complex criminal trials. In 2004, Dom joined the highly regarded Iles Selley Lawyers, where he became a partner in 2006 until his departure in 2024.

Dom is a widely experienced and sought-after litigator, well respected in both the civil/commercial and the criminal courts. He is renowned for his intelligence, hard work and lateral thinking and is equally at home in acting as instructor or counsel in his own right. Dom has appeared (and instructed) in every court in the State as well as in the Federal Court and High Court of Australia. His range of experience is broad, having acted in numerous very high profile and complex criminal and civil cases, often involving media management. He also conducts interstate work, in both civil and criminal law.
 
In early 2025, Dom and Travis Moran commenced Agresta Moran, a firm specialising in litigation and dispute resolution in both the criminal and civil jurisdictions.
